School Excursion

Just education is not enough, children must have sunshine, freedom and playtime.

Every year, both students and teachers eagerly anticipate the school picnic. It is a day to relax and have fun with friends and classmates in a beautiful outdoor setting. This year, the picnic was held at three venues – The Bhagyalakshmi farms – attended our little munchkins of Kindergarten, The Enchanting Acres-  attended by the tiny tots of Grades 1 and 2 and  The Discovery Village by our blooming buds of  Grades 3–8.

At the Bhagyalakshmi farms , kids visited different sections of the farms which comprised of aquariums, birds, bonsai garden, vegetable and fruit orchards. A farm visit was an opportunity for children to see some farm animals, learn about how food is grown.and helps children to reconnect with nature and learn in a different environment to the classroom. All in all it was a ‘farm-tastic’ experience for our students

At the ‘Enchanting Acres’ –   children had an opportunity to know about animals, their food habits, hands-on pottery class, planting and vegetable gardening, horse riding tractor ride and other activities. The children enjoyed their day in the lap of the nature, that was filled with fun, team games, adventures, and experiential learning.

At the ‘Discovery Village’ – students were divided into groups for the adventurous activities. Zip line, rope climbing, wall climbing, pottery, indoor games, and many more games were amazing, and the students thoroughly enjoyed them. Students also shook their legs to the thumping dance numbers with crazy steps, followed by a group photo at the end.
