Safety and Security
The safety and security of our students is our priority in school. In order to

fiction and non-fiction, periodicals, magazines, and newspapers. Students are

Vectio
We provide a well-networked fleet of buses that connects the school to various
parts of the city. Trained drivers, conductors, and lady attendants ensure the
safety of every child. All our buses are equipped with First-Aid kits. CCTV and
GPS services are enabled in every bus for better monitoring. The bus staff
members are regularly trained to take care of the students while they are using
the school transport.
Caupona
The upcoming cafeteria will provide a hygienic and clean area with a variety of
wholesome snacks and dishes. Extreme care will be taken in the preparation of
food in a highly hygienic environment with great emphasis on maintaining
quality standards and proper disposal of leftover foods. Food is usually priced at
subsidized rates.
Medicare
Complete healthcare facilities with a full-fledged infirmary with beds and
consultation room exist on campus. Full-time nurse and nursing attendants are
on campus during school hours to ensure that all students are treated with
utmost care and attention. In case of emergencies, the students are immediately
referred to a leading hospital near the campus. A state – of – the art ambulance
is always on standby for any medical emergency that may arise.
Sports – Athletics in Action
The opportunity to play and play well is what we provide at DPS. Sports are as
important for the all-round development of a child as academics. Sports

to think out of the box and deploy strategies that are “unconventional”. Our
classrooms are well equipped with Smartboards, they not only improve the way
teachers teach but also enhance the way students learn. It provides an enriched
learning experience for students by projecting visual elements. Learning with
smart boards is much more straightforward because teachers can accommodate
different learning styles. The touch screen option allows teachers and students
to run programmes with the tap of their fingers.
Entrar
Entrar is our online platform which enables parents to interact with the school
and vice-versa. It is our in-house Web Application which is an innovative
technological tool that aids the efficient management of work processes and the
institution as a whole. It forms the repository for the entire data of the school.
Each student is provided with an ID and Password to allow them to access
notices, announcements, curriculum, date sheets and results online.
Coliseum of Art and Culture
An open-air amphitheatre allows children a free mind and a place to enhance
their creative imagination. The amphitheatre is used by teachers to conduct
activities and give children scope for thinking and learning amidst nature.
Counselling Cell
DPS Bangalore West aims to bridge the learning gaps and enable children with
disabilities to be integrated into the mainstream learning. We respect and
understand the different pace of development of all children and ensure that the
child learns at his or her own pace. The school has trained counsellors and
special educators who provide counselling for emotional, behavioural and
learning problems. If the child is having difficulty learning with the method
used in the learning content, the teachers and the specialised counsellors use life
skills training therapies for the children.
Multimedia Empiric
The school is well equipped with a full-fledged computer lab with an ample
number of computers and other allied facilities. Our computer faculty helps to
develop a deeper understanding of technology and its working in every child.
