KKECT’s philosophy is to impart quality education and ensure the overall personality development of each beneficiary. The Trust has established its footprint in diverse areas of education. The Delhi Public Schools at Bangalore South, North and East, established by KKECT with state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly motivated faculty, are considered centres of excellence in school education. K.K. College of Education is an institute promoted by the Trust that has forayed into shaping teachers of tomorrow. K.K. College of Science, Commerce and Management is yet another venture creating opportunities for the youth by offering courses at the pre-university and graduate levels in both Science and Commerce streams.

Delhi Public School Bangalore West, under the aegis of the DPS Society and the tutelage of K K Educational & Charitable Trust, springs forth from the commitment to provide quality education to promote intellectual, social and cultural vivacity among its learners, and thereby contribute towards nation-building. नास्ति विद्यासमो बन्धुर्नास्ति विद्यासमः सुहृत् । नास्ति विद्यासमं वित्तं नास्ति विद्यासमं सुखम् ॥ उपर्युक्त कहे गए श्लोक का अर्थ है कि विद्या जैसा बंधु नहीं है, विद्या जैसा कोई मित्र नहीं है, विद्या के जैसा कोई धन नहीं है और विद्या के जैसा कोई सुख नहीं है । विद्या से विनय (नम्रता) आती है, विनय से पात्रता (सजनता) आती है ,पात्रता से धन की प्राप्ति होती है, धन से धर्म और धर्म से सुख की प्राप्ति होती है । My vision is simple – To explore what is best for my students and to provide an environment in which they can feel comfortable while they learn. They need to understand that it is through mistakes and gentle correction that they learn and grow. I want students to enjoy classes so that they come to school with a smile on their faces. To achieve this, I employ a number of fun and innovative activities so that the students remain curious about what is coming next. Overall, with my vision and twelve years of teaching experience, I make sure that my students leave my classes with improved Hindi language skills, while also growing into better human beings.

Teaching to me is to nurture the love and respect for learning in my students. It is to bring a positive difference in a child’s life, and make it more meaningful. I love to see the kids’ eyes light up when they catch on to an idea, and take off with it— this very moment is treasured by every teacher, as it gives meaning to our profession. In the twenty-three years of my experience as a teacher, and five years as a coordinator of Anubhava Shiksha Kendra, I have realised that we must constantly push the limits of the teaching methodologies and mind-sets to keep up with the changing times.

In the past 14 years of my experience as a Kindergarten teacher and coordinator, there has been nothing more inspiring to me than to see the face of a child who has mastered a new skill or conquered a challenge. When I greet those little smiling faces every morning I am empowered beyond words. I am happy that I make a positive difference in the lives of children.
