The Preparatory Stage (Grades 3–5) at Delhi Public School Bangalore West, aligned with NEP 2020, provides a joyful and engaging learning environment that strengthens foundational skills while fostering curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking. Our curriculum blends experiential learning across languages, Mathematics, EVS, Art and Digital Literacy, ensuring that students build conceptual understanding through stories, activities, projects, and hands-on exploration.

Classrooms follow a child-centered approach where teachers facilitate inquiry through interactive discussions, experiments, group work, and blended learning. Evaluation happens on a regular basis to assess students’ performance. We conduct four summative assessments, and the child’s progress is discussed with parents to keep them informed. Continuous classroom observations, assignments, and project work also help track overall development, ensuring a clear understanding of each learner’s growth.

Alongside academics, students participate in diverse co-curricular activities including arts, sports, yoga, and nature-based programs, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development. We also integrate sustainability-oriented practices through eco-clubs, waste segregation drives, and experiential activities that nurture environmental responsibility. Students are encouraged to understand the importance of conservation and adopt mindful habits that contribute to a greener future.
